The GP's based in Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex are committed to providing care throughout the current Coronavirus threat. As of 13 March, in order to protect the patients, doctors and staff, all routine patient appointments are suspended. Patients with URGENT medical concerns will be triaged by telephone prior to being offered a consultation with a doctor/nurse in all GP practices. Routine treatment room investigations also require triage.
PLEASE DO NOT come to any of the GP surgeries without phoning the practice first. They will authorise any attendances that are necessary.
If you have booked an appointment at the Treatment room, all appointments for bloods and injections are now cancelled. Patients with wounds are encouraged to contact the Treatment room on 02882 835525.
If you need advice about a blood test, please contact your GP practice. Doctors will be available for urgent medical advice and will see patients as needed after telephone assessments. These measures are necessary to ensure that the facility stays open.
All prescriptions will be available at pharmacies for collection. DO NOT come to the GP reception desks. Please allocate a chemist when ordering your repeat or acute medications.
We hope to resume normal services ASAP.
Thank you for your co-operation.
If you are concerned about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and have flu like symptoms with a cough and temperature, please stay at home.
DO NOT COME IN TO THE PRACTICE.
